We have been using Sumo in our taxi fleet since 2001 and are happy with it. Initially, we had a mix of Sumo and other vehicles. But since the introduction of the Sumo Gold, we stopped buying other vehicles and today our fleet only has the Sumo Gold. The new get up of the Sumo Gold is really nice and is definitely a better choice.

The power of the engine is good and even the performance is decent. We do not need cars that will race on the street, but are easy to drive and comfortable for the driver and also the passengers. At the same time, they should be fuel-efficient also, after all it is business that we are running. The mileage of Sumo Gold is really good and we love the fact that we can save so much money with such good fuel efficiency.

If you consider the base variant or even the range-topping version of the Sumo Gold, it is the best in class when it comes to value for all the money that you have invested on the vehicle. Everything is very good for the cost it comes for and I’m really happy with the returns I have got and will be getting in the near future. I have always been a fan of Sumo and I have adored the looks of it. This is one reason why I bought the Sumo Gold over the Scorpio. This also has better seats and it is more comfortable than a Scorpio. The Scorpio seats aren’t that cosy and even the space for a person like me are tight.

I live in Hyderabad and I have a daily running of about 300kms. So, I wanted something that is spacious, comfortable, smooth, and easy to drive and does not break down. The Tata Sumo Gold was the best option for me, and I bought it for my personal use. I take it everyday to my petrol pump and I like the Sumo Gold. It doesn’t just look good but also feels nice when you are inside the vehicle. Even getting in and out of the Sumo Gold is easy because of the space it offers, in Scorpio the second row has less space, which means one has to cramp him to move in.

The Sumo Gold is a real gold vehicle. I love the way it feels when you sit inside. It is like sitting on top of a lion. That is where generally a king sits and that is a speciality of the Sumo Gold. The seats are comfortable and aren’t tiring. I like to take it for long drives also, and my work gets done in lesser budget because of the mileage of the Sumo Gold. Even the people travelling like it because of the leg room and the head room. Also, even folks sitting behind can see the road, which makes it more fun for the kids as they like to see what is happening outside. I can also see my bonnet. This makes it easier for me to judge the width of my car in tight turning spots.

My petrol pump, commonly known as Rajeshwar Singh’s pump, has been famous for the last 14 years and now even my Sumo Gold is a part of the same fame. The Sumo Gold with its manly looks is great and stands out in the crowd. The massive grille with all the chrome shine is what I love about the looks.

Interiors look so good and even the seats are nice and big. I like the second row seats also, because there is so much space and people sitting behind do not complain. The Sumo Gold is a good budget SUV with nice mileage. The utility vehicle is good to drive. The suspension is also nice. It doesn’t feel anything when you drive on bad roads. It takes all the shocks from the road. I have driven it several times on bad roads and still there is a lot of comfort and even the suspension is intact. No issues faced ever on the suspension.

When I drive my Sumo Gold on the highway, it is a lot of fun. The engine is very responsive and I like the turbo on the engine. The CR4 engine is nice and fun to drive. Even if I go fast on the highway, the road grip of the Sumo Gold is phenomenal and I love to push it if I can get an empty stretch of road.

Even when I drive it in Hyderabad city, I like it. No one messes around and tries to come in front of me. I like the Sumo Gold, because of its power when the red light turns green, even after its shear size. Despite being so large, it has good and small turning radius. This makes it easy for me to drive in small street lanes of the old Hyderabad city. The Sumo Gold is amazing to drive even on these tight and very busy lanes in Hyderabad.

A new Mercedes SUV has come that looks similar to the Sumo Gold. My neighbours were telling me about it, and I liked this fact. The Sumo Gold now makes me more proud and I generally tell people about this same Mercedes SUV that looks like my very own Sumo Gold, if any one asks me.

Even the styling of the Scorpio doesn’t really impress me. The Sumo Gold competes with the Scorpio and is still more spacious and more affordable also. I’m happy and lucky that I bought the Sumo Gold instead of the Scorpio and like the way the Sumo Gold drives. I have also saved a lot of money by buying the Sumo Gold instead of the Scorpio. My savings are still growing because of the average of the Sumo Gold, when compared to the Scorpio.

I have been using various vehicles for several years in construction line business. I have used the Tata Sumo, Qualis and now I have bought the Sumo Gold. I used to like the Qualis, but now I prefer the Sumo Gold. We take people from one point to another. I really liked the car, so I brought it and it is really good. The Sumo Gold is so spacious that 10-11 people can be easily accommodated despite it having a capacity of seating of 8 people. I didn’t get that advantage in the Qualis.

It is good as the Sumo Gold does 150-200km of daily running. It is good for my work and helps me in my business. The comfort is good even with 10-11 people and his helps my business.

The old cars I had, had high maintenance but the Sumo Gold has very little work to be done. There have been no maintenance problems. This helps my work and saves me money. And all the money that I save is equal to the money that I earn. So, why not utilise it to the best and make my work more profitable. It is not that the car is bad, its really good and I like the interiors very much. I think is the best you can get, so many things in the car like power steering, air conditioning, with so much space at this cost is not possible to get in any other big car.

Just like how you treat your family members, I consider the Sumo Gold as a part of my family and also give it equal treatment like any other member of my family. The Sumo Gold is definitely good for daily use and the vehicle hasn’t complained or did ever break down so far.

In old cars, the suspension used to have problems and gave up after a few thousand kms. But the Sumo Gold, even after making 12 people sit has had no problems. There have been no problems even it is driven on very bad roads; it feels nothing for everyone who is sitting inside. I really like this bit of the Sumo Gold. This is very good for my business. With so many potholes and broken road surfaces, there is always a fear of suspension failing. But there is no problem with the suspension, and even the alignment. All the other older cars had a lot of alignment problems and even the tyre had a lesser life. Now, even the tyres last longer.

The air conditioning of the Sumo Gold is really powerful and it does feel good and also a real relief in the heat of Sonepat. Even the passengers are happy because of the cooling, as it easily makes the inside cold in no time. Even the engine is very good and there is enough power. This makes driving very easy and not a lot of human effort is needed to drive the Sumo Gold. Now, it has power steering and also power brakes which make it easy to drive and control the vehicle. Even the road holding is good and the car does well.

Even the pick up of Sumo Gold is good and the mileage is also nice. This all is good for our business. This can easily be driven for 250-300 kms without any issue, without signs of tiring. The driver does not get tired. So, this is a very good thing for us if the driver is comfortable. So, even the driving bit is taken care and thought out by Tata. As most of the other vehicles aren’t comfortable, don’t have such good pick up and mileage. Also, the journey in them does get tiring after some driving. Tata Sumo has been on sale in India since 1994 and several million of customers have used this vehicle. I, Gurvinder Singh Sodhi from Punjab am a proud owner of the Sumo Gold. I always wanted to buy a big car and I have grown up, seeing the Sumo. I like to travel and always needed a car that is comfortable as well, with sufficient power from the engine. Also, as my family is large my requirement has always been for a big car, maybe an SUV. I have been using Tata cars for a long time and finally six months ago I got myself the Tata Sumo Gold.

People in Punjab like big cars and SUVs. Sumo Gold is one of the most loved one in our state. It isn’t just massive, but even the looks are macho and very rugged. The Sumo Gold is carrying forward the heritage of the Sumo, and it is doing it really well. We all like this car and even my family and friends are happy with it.

I bought the Sumo Gold about six months ago and since then there has been no looking back. I have taken this car to many places in my hometown Ropar, and even across my state, Punjab. I have also taken it to various other states like Shimla and Manali in Himachal Pradesh, Jaipur in Rajasthan and even to Agra in Uttar Pradesh. These trips are not tiring as the vehicle is very comfortable and even easy to drive. Even my family has been very comfortable on these large and spacious seats. So, long trips with family are fun.

The height at which you sit is good and you even get a clear view of the road. The masculine looks of the front, means people move aside when they see me coming in their rear view mirror. It also feels like an SUV while driving and it is very comfortable also.

I really like the engine on the Sumo Gold. It is powerful and easy to drive and overtake also. The Sumo Gold’s new CR4 engine does feel potent and it is a joy to use it on the highway and in the city. Even the gearshifts are nice and easy. Even the mileage is good and I haven’t had any issues with it.

I’m very happy with this car and the space it offers. It feels so comfortable and easy to drive. Also, the good bit is even the people sitting behind can sit comfortably. There is so much space and so comfortable it is. People think that the Sumo Gold has bad interiors, but when they sit inside their thoughts change. The Sumo Gold has very nice and modern interiors. Another thing that I like in the Sumo Gold are the seats. They are so large and comfortable that you can relax while driving. The Sumo Gold is a very modern car and even the styling is good. I really like the air conditioning of the car because it cools so easily without any issues. We didn’t face a problem even in the Rajasthan heat.

Even maintenance hasn’t been a problem for the last six months. I have been sending it for regular service to the dealership. Other than this, there has been no complaints or any issues with the car. The Sumo Gold is running strong without any kind of issues or hindrances. I even like the service, as it is affordable and not very hard on my pocket.

I have always been a happy Tata customer for years. I have owned other Tata vehicles like Indica and Indigo and I still own them, but the space offered on the Sumo Gold is far superior. Anyone who has sat in my car has always praised it for the space and the interiors. They tell me not to sell this car ever, for its space and comfort. I really like the Sumo Gold and what to take it to many more destinations with my family. I don’t think I can get any other SUV at this price with so many features and space like the Tata Sumo Gold.

I really like to take it to places and the car never complains. I have not used the old Sumo, but I now know why people really like the Sumo Gold. The engine, the power, the space, the interiors, the seats and not to forget the space for the luggage. The Sumo Gold is definitely a winner from Tata Motors, and I have been recommending it to several people.
